এটি একটি Second Conditional বাক্য। নিয়ম অনুযায়ী, ইফ-ক্লজটি যদি Past Indefinite (were) হয়, তবে পরবর্তী ক্লজে Subject + would + verb (base form) বসে।
১. ‘Will handle’ হলো First Conditional-এর অংশ, যা এখানে সম্ভব নয় কারণ ‘were’ অতীতে আছে।
২. ‘Handled’ সরাসরি ব্যবহার করা যায় না কারণ ‘If I were you’ কল্পনাপ্রসূত বাক্যে ‘would’ অত্যাবশ্যক।
৩. ‘Would have handled’ ব্যবহৃত হয় Third Conditional-এ যখন ইফ-ক্লজে ‘had been’ থাকে।
অতিরিক্ত তথ্য: এই ধরনের বাক্যকে অবাস্তব কল্পনা বা ‘Unreal Past’ বলা হয়।
